Earlier in the evening we drove between our development, Chester, NJ (to see how the rich people decorate) and Clover Hill in Flanders, NJ. Our observations were these: rich people don't like to decorate (or are embarrassed to do so), if someone on the block decorates their house like the 'Griswalds', then others will decorate also, and neighborhoods with lots of kids will be more decorated, especially with blow up Christmas decorations. |
Christmas Eve in Flanders, NJ.
I drove Joe into Queens, NY this morning. We left a little after 7 a.m. this morning, got to his apartment around 8:15, and by 9:00 we were at LaGuardia. The drive was easy with little traffic, both ways in fact. I did see a lot of highway patrolmen out today. I only one person pulled over...he must have been going really fast because most of the autos were traveling faster than 70 mph. I did get a little turned around at LaGuardia. All I can say is "thank God for GPS."
