Old Catholic Church, west side of town.  This church was originally in Hosmer, and during the 60s was moved to Eureka.  Several of the men, including our father, donated $1,000 to move this structure 25 miles.   Click to enlarge.

This used to be the old post office on the first floor and dad's office in the basement.  click to enlarge.

The old Lyric Lanes...the inside has pheasant murials on each wall.  Too bad the theatre is no longer is use - very art decco.  click to enlarge.

Eureka High School.  The playground was a lot smaller in the 60s.  There used to be a street in front of the high school and houses across the street...then expanded.  Click to Enlarge

I had heard that this building was going to be demolished as the Co-Op no longer uses this building.  I remember when it was being built...oh so long ago.   Click to enlarge.

The "big tree" at the Old People's Home in Eureka (Lutheran Care) across from our house.  Click to enlarge.

I wanted to show Elizabeth where we went to drink when we were in high school.   The little town of Artas is nearly a ghost town now.  The bar no longer exists, and the city hall is one of the few old buildings still standing.  Click to enlarge.
