Right: This is a fascinating obituary because it was not the same story that was related to us many years ago. Mom told us about "an uncle" of hers (in this case Edward) had left the house in Kimball and was not seen again. The story was that he may have been murdered; another story was that he lived in west river South Dakota and eventually hooked up with a young woman of Indian descent. Years later, a young man from West River by the name of Ryan, claimed he was Edward's son; and grandpa Frank would occassionally slip him a few dollars when he came to Kimball.
...so this obituary surprised us a lot.
