Christmas in the Black Hills (Merida)

I am sending pictures of
Christmas out
here in the Black Hills. Ann and Matt came over from Brookings and
Joe made it in from
New York so it was a great Christmas.
Christmas Eve was at Barb's house. It was originally planned
that we each dress up as our favorite member of the manger. Only
Tom (a shepherd) and I (and angel) participated. We exchanged a few
"nice" presents and then we had a "wrap something up from around
your house" exchange. Ann regifted the old mistletoe from the Smith
house. You will recognize it in one of the pictures.
Simone received
a set of fairy dolls for Christmas and her grandma
Barb and great aunts had a great session of playing with
dolls.
On
Christmas day we all met at Wendy's house. As always,
peppermint martinis made an appearance. Both naughty and nice. We
had a nice dinner and visited. Wendy had to get up for work at 2:45
am so none of us wanted to stay too late. But we all had a great
time.
