Elizabeth and I celebrated another wedding anniversary this weekend.  On Saturday night we went to a French restaurant...yes, there were frogs legs on the menu...but we didn't order any.   Today (Sunday, April 2nd) we...hiked.    To be more specific, we hiked over four miles; and since it was the first "warm" weekend since winter began, it was "just nice" to be outside...but it also told us how "out of shape we really are."

The pictures below come from Jockey Hollow, which is where George Washington's men camped during the revolutionary war.  The signs of Spring are all over - the daffodils are in bloom, the forsythia trees are blossoming, and buds are beginning to show on fruit trees.  This is one of the few parks that are "dog & family friendly", so many families were out today enjoying the 60+ degrees weather.
