A Holiday Wish

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and holiday season. It seems as if Christmas comes earlier each year, and this year it seems less like "Christmas" as its been in the 60s...and no snow! When you live in Texas, this is expected...when you live in New Jersey...you want snow and a little cold.
As we were going through the mall the other day, Kate and Elizabeth went off to "visit some stores"...they left me in one of my favorite places...Circuit City Electronics. When I saw them next they showed me this picture. Apparently Santa Clause was flirting with them on the way to the Marshalls store...and of course, they decided to sit on his lap and have their picture taken.
The "wallpaper" that you see behind these words was taken from a 1960 Christmas Day photo.
On the table is the "infamous" Fort Apache which V.J. has referenced in one of his stories. See "A Christmas Story"
Fort Apache, along with Fort Alamo and the toy farm set were later consumed by a fire that started in the boys room. For many years, we blamed it upon an "act of God"...but we probably should have looked closer to one of our own who became fascinated with matches at an early age.
Anyway...we wish you the best of health during this holiday season. And if you have to drive long distance to get to your final destination (been there...done that), we wish you a safe journey.
