The Smith Sisters in December 2006

Here are some pictures from our visit to Pierre to see the Christmas trees at the capital building.  They put them up for the public to see from Thanksgiving to Christmas - this year there were 90 trees.  Ann and Matt drove over from Brookings.

Everyone, we put a request in to put up a tree next year. The theme would be a tree in memory of Irish John Smith - we need ideas of what to put on the tree - we would take help from anyone.    Attached is also a picture of our candy house that Tom and I built this year. There was supposed to be a competition with all four of us girls competing. But I found out last night that we were the only ones who built one.  They must of figured we were going to win anyway.

We're on our way to Barb's for Christmas Eve - have a great holiday.

Wendy, Merida, Barb and Ann. It looks like Merida refused to wear "red".

Candy House Tom & Wendy built. I wonder who drew up the plans?

Another view of the house. Mom would have been "proud"!

I wonder who gets to "eat the doors"?
