(Editor’s Note: The following information was taken from the book, King Family & Smith Family History, which is dated August 2, 2001. The King family traces its heritage to Canada. In the early nineteenth century a King family moved from County Monaghan, Ireland, to Prince Edward Island. The following documents were included in this book and show maps as well as official documents. The King ancestors lived in the Indian Rivers section of Prince Edward Island, and is identified in one of the maps below.)
