Trip Notes
Wendy used her iPhone to keep us updated on their progress. At one point she wrote, "Got in Sioux Falls about 1:30 am and we stayed at my father-in-law's house. We drank wine and stayed up until 3:00 am. Got on the road by 8 this morning. We may do a quick detour in Austin (Minnesota) and go to the Spam Museum." The next day we received a note, "Just finished touring.....I won the spam Packing competition!" See the photo below.

Tim's Trip Notes
After Tim arrived at the hotel, he sent a quick note to everyone. "The hotel is right across the street from the Smith Brothers Fish Shanty. I was told it is now a coffee shop, and that the Smiths own this town." On the 29th, it rained constantly, or as Tim noted, "it was a messy drive." He also let everyone know that "there is a Walmart just down the road and I will buy some beer".

Steve's Trip Requirements
Steve hitched a ride with the sisters, and said that the trip to Milwaukee went fast. But he did have a simple request, "What time are you planning on being en route and passing through Chamberlain. Can we be in Milwaukee by 4 p.m. Friday (to do a brewery tour). Will the caped crusader make it to the wedding on time? "
There were two things he wanted to do, and both are reflected on this page. He wanted to "see the Chocolate Nazi and visit a brewery." He had a reason to visit a brewery, and the incentive took place over 40 years ago. "I remember going through the Coors brewery when I was too little to go with the boys to Camp St. Malo and what I remember is the smell being overpoweringly strong (being older I realize that it was the smell of BEER!!!)".
