These are early pictures of Leadville, which should have been scenes our great grandparents would have viewed.  Leadville, at its height, was 40,000 residents; and the citizens of Leadville lived in houses with little front and back yards...and neighbor homes were within feet of each other.

This is a short history of the McGonigles in Leadville based on genealogical documents available through the library and Catholic Church.

East Sixth Street.   See the McGonigle home, and the neighboring homes that surrounded their house.

The Annunciation Church and Harrison Reduction Works.  Both of these institutions played an important role in our family's history.  Click on the hyperlink to find out more.

What the McGonigles would have recognized.  This is a series of photographs and short descriptions of buildings and things that would have been familiar with the McGonigle families.
